Nestled on 40 acres in the tall timber at the base of towering Mount Si, Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center is unique. You’ll find a lovely cedar Lodge with massive rock fireplaces and comfortable rooms. You’ll experience the tranquility of a deep forest and mountain streams. You’ll find a caring and capable staff committed to helping your group enjoy a productive and meaningful retreat.

Rainbow Lodge is a place to get away without travelling far - where a group can gather without the routine distractions of life and work. Just a short drive from Seattle, it is amazing how quickly refreshment and renewal sets in at the Lodge.

When you arrive, you'll find a staff that knows the meaning of caring. They'll help ensure that you have everything you need to make your retreat experience a success.

The Lodge welcomes all groups from nonprofit and religious organizations to our unique setting.

We also have limited availability for businesses, families or other types of groups.

As space is available we are able to accommodate groups for single day events without an overnight. We take these reservations within 45 days of the start of your event.

Follow us on Facebook to hear about special opportunities for individuals and very small groups.

Each group has exclusive use of the Lodge and its resources while on site. We are able to accommodate overnight groups of 25-65 individuals (normally a 35 person minimum on weekends).

Rainbow Lodge offers our guest groups a place to meet together and interact without  distractions - an ideal location for:
  • Spiritual retreats
  • Training events
  • Team building
  • Planning
  • Conferences

The Lodge's setting in the woods combines comfort and convenience with an "away-from-it-all" feeling while providing quality meal service, meeting areas and comfortable sleeping rooms.

Tours
If you would like a tour of our facility please email to make an appointment so we can set a date and time that won't interrupt our guests.

Our Mission

Rainbow Lodge provides a haven of rest, peace, healing, and security.   We foster opportunities for our guests to experience spiritual, personal, and/or professional growth in a tranquil and natural setting.

Our Vision

Rainbow Lodge improves the world through our Ministry of Hospitality; where one may encounter the divine, and where hope is restored in people’s lives; even as the rainbow is a symbol of promise for the future.

Our Name

"The name Rainbow Lodge comes from the story in Genesis: that after the flood a rainbow appears as a symbol of hope and promise for the future. Our dream was that Rainbow Lodge would be just that for many, many people."
Dick Birdsall, founding director

The Land

We acknowledge that Rainbow Lodge is located on the Indigenous Land of the Coast Salish peoples who have reserved treaty right to this land, specifically the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe (sdukʷalbixʷ). We thank these caretakers of this land who have lived and continue to live here since time immemorial.
