What is Rainbow Lodge?
Rainbow Lodge is a retreat-center nestled in a peaceful woodland setting near North Bend, WA. Its mission is “to provide a haven of rest, peace, healing, and security,” offering a tranquil, natural environment where guests can experience spiritual, personal, or professional growth.

The Lodge combines “away-from-it-all” seclusion with comfortable amenities: quality meals, meeting spaces, and cozy sleeping rooms — making it ideal for spiritual retreats, conferences, team building, training events, or planning gatherings.
Where is Rainbow Lodge located?
Rainbow Lodge Retreat Center is located at:
46820 SE Mount Si Road, North Bend, WA 98045.

The lodge sits on 40 acres of forest at the base of Mount Si. For hikers and outdoor lovers, the Mount Si and Mount Teneriffe trailheads are nearby, offering easy access to some of the area’s most popular hiking routes. It is also just minutes from downtown North Bend, where guests can enjoy local shops, restaurants, and other activities. Nearby attractions include Snoqualmie Falls and several Twin Peaks filming locations, making the area rich in natural beauty and cultural history.
What types of retreats do you host?
Rainbow Lodge hosts a wide variety of group retreats, including spiritual and faith-based retreats, staff and leadership retreats, team-building gatherings, workshops, trainings, wellness and mindfulness retreats, and educational or planning retreats.
Is the lodge available for individual stays or only group rentals?
Rainbow Lodge is reserved exclusively for group rentals. We do not offer individual or drop-in overnight stays. We book only one group at a time, ensuring your group has exclusive use of the entire lodge and all facilities.

We have a minimum requirement of 25 guests for weekday events and 35 guests for weekend events. Weekend retreats must include both Friday and Saturday nights (a two-night minimum). Single-night group stays are available only outside of Friday–Saturday. If a group falls below the minimum requirement, we can still host your retreat; however, your final invoice will reflect billing at the minimum threshold.

All package prices include full access to the lodge, meeting spaces, and grounds.
What’s the best way to get there?
The easiest way to reach Rainbow Lodge is by car. Guests typically travel via I-90 or Highway 18, and the lodge is about 35–40 minutes from Seattle and Sea-Tac Airport. From I-90, take Exit 32 and follow Mount Si Road directly to the lodge.

Rideshare services are available, and public transit options are provided through King County Metro Bus Services. Many groups also use shuttle or private car services, including SubLimo Services (https://www.sublimoservices.com) and Gambini Luxury Transportation (https://gambinilux.com).

Is parking available?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge offers on-site parking for retreat groups, with space for multiple vehicles in our main lot. Parking is free for all guests during their stay. We do not have dedicated electric vehicle charging stations; however, we can provide access to standard electrical outlets for guests who bring their own charging adapters.
How do I make a reservation?
The fastest way to start a reservation is to submit our online inquiry form: https://www.rainbowlodge.org/inquiry.html. This form provides all the key details we need to review your request quickly.

You can view our current availability here: https://www.rainbowlodge.org/available-dates.html.

You may also contact us by email at [email protected]
or call/text 425-888-4181.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, as popular dates—especially weekends—fill quickly. Our 2026 and 2027 calendars are currently open for reservations, and many groups secure their retreats several months to a year in advance.

Our peak season runs through Spring, Summer, and Fall, with weekends being the most in-demand. Weekdays are generally less competitive but still book up steadily.

You can view available dates here:
https://www.rainbowlodge.org/available-dates.html.
Is there a minimum or maximum group size?
Yes. We require a minimum of 25 guests for weekday events and 35 guests for weekend events. Weekend retreats must include both Friday and Saturday nights.

If your group falls below the minimum requirement, we can still host your retreat; however, your final invoice will reflect billing at the minimum threshold.

Rainbow Lodge has 27 guest rooms, 53 accessible beds, and 14 lofts, allowing us to accommodate up to 67 overnight guests at maximum capacity.
What are your weekday and weekend minimum requirements?
Our minimum requirement is 25 guests for weekday events and 35 guests for weekend events. Weekend retreats must include both Friday and Saturday nights. Groups with fewer attendees are welcome, but the final invoice will reflect the minimum billing threshold.
Do you require a deposit to hold dates?
Yes. We require a deposit of $500 per night, up to a maximum of $2,500. This deposit is applied toward lowering the final invoice. After making a tentative reservation, groups have two weeks to submit their deposit. Once the deposit is received, your reservation is confirmed and your preferred dates are officially reserved on our calendar.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the booking is cancelled outside of 6 months, you lose the deposit. If the booking is cancelled less than 6 months prior to the scheduled retreat, the group agrees to pay $750 per night of the reservation. The existing deposit is deducted from this fee. If the booking is cancelled less than 2 months prior to the scheduled date, the group agrees to pay 90% of the minimum charge.
What is your arrival/departure times?
Our default arrival time is 5:00pm, with dinner served at 6:00pm. On the final day, our default departure time is 2:00pm, following lunch at 12:00pm (Noon). Early arrivals and late departures are available for an additional $50 per hour.

While mealtimes have default schedules, they can be adjusted to meet your group’s needs. We ask that any meal-time preferences be submitted with your final information no later than one week before your retreat begins, so our kitchen has time to plan and order necessary ingredients.
What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 5:00pm, and check-out is at 2:00pm. Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged for an additional fee.
Can people come just for the day?
Yes, we do offer day-use options for groups that do not require overnight accommodations. Day-use is $20 per person, per day, which includes access to meeting spaces, the lodge grounds, and on-site amenities. Meals are not included in this fee and may be added à la carte; meal pricing is provided in your booking agreement.
While we welcome day groups, please note that we prioritize overnight groups and package pricing when scheduling reservations.

What are the sleeping accommodations like?
Rainbow Lodge offers simple, comfortable lodge-style rooms designed for both shared and individual occupancy. All rooms include beds with bedding, HVAC, and a sink with hot and cold water. Bathrooms and showers are communal on both floors, featuring multiple private stalls, including ADA-accessible options.

The majority of our beds are twin/single beds. We also offer five rooms with queen beds, and all rooms contain two beds except for Room 108, which has a single queen bed. Most groups reserve this room for their leader, teacher, pastor, priest, or special guest.

You can view our room layout here:

And our Lodge Booklet, which includes additional details, here:
https://www.rainbowlodge.org/lodge-booklet.html
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes. We provide all bedding, pillows, and towels for overnight guests.
Are the facilities accessible for individuals with disabilities?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge offers several accessibility features to support guests with disabilities; however, our building was constructed in 1980 and does not have an elevator, so accessing the second floor may be challenging for some guests.

We provide adapted accessible bathroom and shower stalls on the first floor, and our main first-floor meeting space—located slightly lower than the main level—has a lift to assist guests in and out of the room. In addition, a wheelchair ramp at the rear of the building allows accessible entry to the back of the property.
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are welcome at Rainbow Lodge as long as they are supervised by their group at all times. We do not offer lodging discounts for children or teens, but we do offer food discounts. Children 3 and under eat free, ages 4–12 receive 50% off, and ages 13–16 receive 25% off. Meal discounts are not included in package rates, so food costs can be determined using the à la carte prices provided in your quote and booking agreement after you submit your inquiry form.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not permitted at Rainbow Lodge. Trained service animals are welcome. If a guest wishes to request an exception, we review these situations on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at [email protected] to discuss your specific needs.
Is smoking permitted on the property?
Smoking is not allowed inside any building at Rainbow Lodge. Smoking is also not permitted on the front porch or under the porch awning. Guests who wish to smoke must do so in the parking lot, and all smoking materials must be fully extinguished and disposed of in the designated ash stands/bins. Littering is not permitted.
What is your alcohol policy?
Alcohol is allowed at Rainbow Lodge, but we do not provide alcohol. Groups are welcome to bring their own beverages and may request the use of our wine glasses if needed. Although not required, we recommend that groups obtain any necessary permits and ensure that all alcohol use is responsible and compliant with state laws.
Are meals included with our stay?
Yes. Our packages are all-inclusive, covering both lodging and meals. We serve three meals a day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—in our dining hall. Hot and cold beverages are available 24 hours a day, including coffee, decaf, tea, orange juice, lemonade, soda/pop, and water. Oatmeal and cereal are available all day, and the dining hall is accessible around the clock, even outside of staffing windows.

We do not provide snacks unless specifically requested. Groups are encouraged to bring their own snacks, and we offer a dedicated counter space and full-size refrigerator reserved specifically for group use, which we clean between retreats.

We can accommodate a wide range of dietary needs, including dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, vegetarian, vegan, fasting, and health-conscious preferences. However, we do not have an allergen-free certified kitchen. While we take care to avoid cross-contact, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with multiple dietary restrictions or severe or anaphylactic allergies are strongly encouraged to bring their own meals.

Dietary restrictions must be submitted with your group’s final information no later than one week before your retreat begins, so our kitchen has time to plan and order the necessary ingredients. While we can provide a very generic sample menu in advance, actual menus are created 1–2 days before your retreat based on seasonal availability and local variety.
When are mealtimes?
Our standard mealtimes are:

  • Breakfast: 8:00am
  • Lunch: 12:00pm (Noon)
  • Dinner: 6:00pm

These times can be adjusted based on your group’s needs with advance notice.
Do you accommodate special dietary needs?
Yes. We can accommodate many common dietary needs, including gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan, nut-free, and other health-conscious preferences. However, our kitchen is not allergen-free certified, and while we take steps to minimize cross-contact, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. For guests with multiple dietary restrictions or severe/anaphylactic allergies, we recommend bringing their own meals. Dietary needs should be submitted at least one week before arrival.
Do your packages include meals? What about outside food?
Yes, our packages include all meals during your stay. Outside food and catering are not permitted, except for snacks that groups may bring.
Can we bring our own food?
Outside catering and group-prepared meals are not allowed, as all meals are provided by our kitchen. However, groups are welcome to bring their own snacks, and we provide dedicated counter space and a full-size refrigerator reserved for group use, which is cleaned between retreats.
Is there a kitchen available for group use?
No. Our kitchen is for staff use only, and groups are not permitted to cook or prepare meals on-site.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Business-grade high-speed internet and Wi-Fi are available throughout the building and property and are included in all package pricing.
Is there cell phone reception?
Yes, most major carriers receive coverage at the lodge; however, signal strength can vary due to the surrounding tall trees, proximity to Mount Si, and changing weather conditions. Guests typically have reception, but it may not always be consistent in all areas of the property.
Do you have a printer we can use?
Yes. We have a basic printer available for small printing needs. If your group requires large quantities of printing or specialized printing (such as photos or other high-volume jobs), we recommend bringing your own printer. Our printer is available on the lodge’s network, so once connected to Wi-Fi, guests should be able to locate and print directly to the main office printer.
What is your audio/visual capabilities?
Our main meeting space features a large wall-mounted TV that can connect via HDMI or AirPlay for presentations, video conferencing, movies, and music. We provide two wireless microphones, a presenter table/stand/podium, and both microphone and music stands. The room is equipped with multiple wall- and ceiling-mounted speakers to support clear audio for groups of all sizes.
Are audio/visual equipment and supplies available?
Yes. We provide basic A/V equipment for group use, including microphones, speakers, and a large display for presentations.
What activities are available on the property?
Rainbow Lodge sits on 40 acres of forested land with several private, interlooping walking trails. Guests can enjoy a variety of on-site activities, including access to our chapel, bonfire pit, volleyball court, and our solarium (sunroom). We also provide a selection of yard games such as cornhole and croquet, as well as a rock labyrinth for quiet reflection and meditation.

Please note that we do not have a pool or hot tub.

Are there nearby hiking trails?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge offers beginner-friendly private trails on our 40-acre property, with minimal incline and decline—ideal for light walking, reflection, or warm-up hikes. For more advanced hiking, we are located near two of the region’s most popular mountains: Mount Si and Mount Teneriffe, both of which offer well-known, challenging trail systems and beautiful viewpoints.
Is there a quiet or meditative space for guests?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge offers many peaceful indoor and outdoor spaces suitable for quiet reflection and meditation. Guests can make use of our chapel, rock labyrinth, and solarium (sunroom) for contemplative time. Our upstairs common area can also serve as a quiet space; when the shutters are open, it overlooks the main meeting space, and when the shutters are closed, it becomes a separate, more private area. The surrounding forest and trails further provide natural areas for solitude and stillness.
Is there a meeting room or space for group gatherings?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge offers a large main meeting room that can comfortably hold 60+ people for group sessions, presentations, workshops, worship services, and other gatherings. In addition to professional use, the space is also great for fun activities such as movie nights, music sessions, or karaoke-style events. While we do not have a dedicated karaoke machine, we provide wireless microphones, speakers, and access to video platforms like YouTube, which many groups use for sing-alongs or entertainment.
Can we bring in our own instructors?
Yes. Rainbow Lodge only hosts groups and events—we do not facilitate classes or experiences. Groups are expected to bring their own instructors, teachers, presenters, or facilitators to lead their sessions.
Do you offer any planning assistance?
Yes. We provide guidance throughout the planning process, including answering questions, helping you understand our facilities, and coordinating details such as lodging arrangements, meal schedules, and meeting space setup. Our goal is to support your group in preparing for a smooth and successful retreat.
Do you offer guided retreats?
We only provide the space and facilities for your retreat. We do not offer guided programs or facilitated experiences. All teaching, instruction, programming, or spiritual leadership is provided by your group.
Who do I contact if I have questions before my retreat?
If you have questions before your retreat, you can contact our office at [email protected] or call/text 425-888-4181. You may also reply directly within your group self-service portal, and our team will be happy to assist.
How can I reach someone during our stay?
Staff will be available and in the building throughout the day, and the best times to reach us or ask questions are during mealtimes. There are no staff in the building overnight. For emergencies, we recommend calling 911. For non-emergencies, your group leaders may text our Director’s line, which will be provided when your stay begins.
Do you offer transportation or shuttle services?
Rainbow Lodge does not provide transportation or shuttle services. However, guests can reach the lodge using a variety of options. Rideshare services are available, and King County Metro Bus Services operate in the surrounding area. Most guests flying in arrive through Sea-Tac Airport and travel via I-90 or Highway 18 to reach the lodge.

For groups seeking private transportation, several non-affiliated shuttle and car services are available, including:
